Purpose and goal
The project aims to introduce a positive change in culture and a systematic approach to increase the organization´s capacity for innovation. Goal is to encourage workforce to bring new ideas, develop and test new ideas in a so-called innovation hub and provide municipality development, employee potential, future attractive jobs and residents a sustainable municipality with well functioning welfare services.
Expected results and effects
Expected results are at least two idea coaches, a change program, networks and methods that transform ways of leading change. At least 100 managers has participated in change programs. Activities have taken place between the organizations in Sundsvall, Timrå, Härnösand and Ånge municipalities, the County Council, Bron Innovation and Åkroken Business Incubator. There is an IT platform in place for supporting an open and transparent communication of ideas and innovation in the municipality. At least 40 ideas has been tested and evaluated. The gender equality analysis has resulted in activities.
Planned approach and implementation
The innovation hub will support existing development processes and initiate new ones. The project will employ and design the project´s different phases. The innovation hub will consist of a council, supporting teams, IT tools, models, test beds and idea coaches that facilitates and supports people and teams with ideas from concept to testing and evaluation. The council decides on funding and test of ideas. Management will decide in pilot projects for implementation. The council will work closely to management and networks internally and externally for efficient processing.
