Important results from the project

The intitation projecth phase goal was to get together interest groups or persons within the field of urban drainage and stormwater handling, to further develop green infrastucture and advanced technology plans and thoughts. All this within the total frame of urban development. The project has met its goals - in all 6 Work Packages have been identified as as well (in each WP) WP partners of interest.

Expected long term effects

During the project time representatives from different companies, public authorities, water service providers as well as university members have met an discussed urban drainage and stormwater handling. The work has proceeded based on prestudied themes and questions at issue. Project members showed a great degree of enhusiasm and improvement interest, impediments and obstructions have been distinticly elucidated. There seem here to prevail an attuned group opinion.

Approach and implementation

The project is based on participant efforts and contributions during two separate project meetings. The first was held at Kinvsta (near Arlanda airport) 16-17 october 2013 and the following at Clarion Hotel Arlanda 22 january 2014. Both project meetings can be concluded to be vital in order to propagate the project - not to forget them being effective both when it comes to topics development and total time used. Separate visits were performed to local officies of Purac AB in Lund and WegTwch AB in Vislanda. The visits were performed in order to get att better market understanding.
