Purpose and goal
The purpose of the project is to meet future project partners for a Horizon 2020 application. The goal is to gather a clear, exceptional and international project group with participants from across Europe and with competencies within Tractor GPS, wireless communications, satellite analys, agronomy and software. During the project, we connected with a group of highly competent companies within GPS, agronomy and software, that want to participate in our project and contribute to a more efficient distribution of nitrogen. For that reason, the project´s goals were reached.
Expected results and effects
Vultus was expecting to meet and extent its cooperation with a large amount of companies that specialize in farming technology, to get closer to a final project group. The trip to Hannover was a create success. Vultus found a large amount of new contacts with deep competencies within GPS, data transfer, agronomy and software. The project´s outcome is the same as the expected results.
Planned approach and implementation
Before the event, we had searched through a large amount of participants at Agritechina, and booked a large amount of meetings. Some of the companies we knew from before, but several were new contacts. During the Thursday 16/11 and Friday 17/11, Vultus were at the event and met the project partners. Those meetings were followed up by virtual meetings. The project was in theory very well planned and executed. Though, we wish we could have stayed at the event one or two days more, because there so many things going on. We underestimated how many interesting companies we could meet at the event.
