Purpose and goal
The project has been carried out in aim to test the forms and methods obtained from the startup and technology industry in the more sluggish architectural industry. On the basis of "lean" and "agile", a new perspective has been given to daily work and challenges have been tested from a clear product development perspective. With the stay we have been able to fulfill our objective to try out a number of new formats and approaches. Partly linked to specific project challenges and partly how the day-to-day work can be streamlined and how we work best together to achieve our target images.
Expected results and effects
Challenges have been identified at the same time as values can be seen through more results-oriented work and application of methodology from "agile" and "lean". In general, we tend to find it difficult to leave unprocessed material, which poses to the iterative work that must be continuously reconciled. Applying parts from SCRUM and Kanban in the process methodology should streamline work within and between offices, as well as with clients. Project, characterized by processes of different intensity could use target documents such as fictitious press releases to ensure goals.
Planned approach and implementation
The stay has meant broad participation in ongoing project and the organization. Initially, a knowledge inquiry was conducted where challenges were identified and shared. Based on these, in-depth studies have been conducted and several methodologies have been tested. Among other things, to clarify the end product, strengthen the conditions at project start and space for quick feedback and interaction. This is achieved through the application of the tools SCRUM and Kanban in the internal work as well as rituals such as retrospective and design sprints linked to specific project.
