Important results from the project
The FOCUS centre on advanced sensors, multisensors and sensor networks aims to be an internationally competitive platform for research and development in sensor systems for security and safety.
Expected long term effects
The FOCUS centre of excellence will create a unique multi-disciplinary research environment which mobilizes leading Swedish R&D groups and individuals in the rapidly expanding field of electromagnetic sensors and sensor network technologies
Approach and implementation
The FOCUS centre will contribute to an efficient flow of ideas between scientists, development engineers and business developers. To facilitate this, projects are created where personnel from industry, institute and university are working together to penetrate the issues identified.
