EU-coordination Drive Sweden

Purpose and goal

The project has aimed to lay a foundation for enabling Drive Sweden and its partners to scale up, when appropriate, existing Swedish projects for increased funding; and to contribute to roadmaps and other strategy documents within the EU, such as Horizon Europe´s (HEu) Workprogramme (WP), through relevant organisations (e.g. ERTRAC, EARPA, CLEPA). Furthermore, the project has strived to support and encourage more Swedish parties to participate in EU projects. A further aim has been active participation in the CCAM partnership (CCAM-p below).

Expected results and effects

HEu WP´s 2021-2022 topics with possible relevance to Drive Sweden and its partners have been discussed with the thematic areas to define ideas and projects that may match 2022 topics and could be candidates for upscaling. Partners have been invited to join European consortium for project application. The effect logic has been matched to related HEu WP topics. Profiling opportunities have been identified and led to presentations at EUCAD 2021. Drive Sweden presented itself to CCAM-p at a dedicated session at GA Dec 2021. Concrete work in ERTRAC & CCAM P-ship (incl lead for 2 of 7 clusters)

Planned approach and implementation

Work according to plan in 4 WPs. Deviation: key messages were not elaborated beyond draft status due to resource. Mapping of projects and EU´s WPs; updates of EU activities were done by project participants, and discussed in the Program Office (PK). Thematic areas have discussed project proposals and connections to 2022 topics and presented in PK. Drive Sweden & partners have presented at EUCAD 2021 and CCAM-p´s General Assembly. Drive Sweden & partners are members of CCAM-p and lead 2 of 7 clusters (1: large scale demonstration; 6: societal aspects & user needs). Roadmap work etc in ERTRAC
