Purpose and goal
Utbildningen Elements of AI has since May 2002 been communicated via ai.se, newsletters, social media such as. LinkedIn and the platform AI Competence for Sweden. The goal of 150,000 registered at the end of the project was not reached, but Linköping University has decided to continue with the course and run it even after this project has ended. LiU has also decided to create a distance course to give points for the advanced course Building AI and is developing two new advanced courses AI for natural language and the basics of machine learning.
Expected results and effects
The number who have registered an account on the Swedish landing page was about 41,000 in May 2021 and about 180 companies and organizations have actively shown commitment. Thus, the project has come a long way and hopefully played a role in many organizations´ interest in AI.
Planned approach and implementation
AI Sweden and Linköpings Universitet have the collaboration with Reaktor and the University of Helsinki, where the responsibility for communication in Sweden has been on AI Sweden and the implementation of the course on other parties. The outcome has been followed up continuously.
