Purpose and goal
The project has focused on strengthening the position of the digital infrastructure in the planning system by facilitating an open forum and meeting place for the actors in the transport sector. The Project has presented a definition of the digital infrastructure as well as agreed on a number of strategic and concrete activities for a possible next phase of the project.
Expected results and effects
The project studied a number of ongoing digital inititatives and concluded that none is focusing on the digital infrastructure as such. The participants in the project have gained a number of new insights and a need for a better joint long-term planning being the one of them.
Planned approach and implementation
The Project has held three open workshops with more than 50 participants, many holding senior positions in the transport sector. The format with half day workshops with a wide range of areas worked well, both as a forum and creative group meetings. The prestudy Project was complemented with bi-lateral meeting where a number of actors could express their own view and position on how to achive a common national digital infrastructure.
