Purpose and goal
Purpose: To make existing/company-owned fuel tanks a functional facility for smallscale fuel sales. Energifabriken believes that this project has contributed to fulfilling this purpose. The pilot installations that have been installed have been used by various actors who have got closer to a fuel station. The facility that has not yet come into operation will constitute a perfect example of how this service could be used/commercialized. 5 out of 6 facilities are installed/improved, evaluations carried out, design drawn up, partnerships/customer relations established.
Expected results and effects
Expected effect of the project was to test drive our service under real conditions, with real customers under controllable forms. It has been done, with successful results and has given us valuable information for continued development. Bugs have been identified which is important for securing future transactions. Design has been developed. Important partnerships have been established within one of the major business areas (construction projects), and tests will be carried out during the autumn. Potential customers have already requested when the service will be available.
Planned approach and implementation
Unfortunately, the project has not been able to have the pace as planned, and has been delayed in its implementation. However, the project has followed the outlined plan. The lower pace and delays are mainly due to Maria Gungner´s parental leave where replacement recruitment has failed several times. Staff from Energifabriken has run the project, but a larger company acquisition at the end of the year has taken considerable resources. If a replacement had been added early, the project could have had an even higher level of ambition and implemented according to time schedule.
