Important results from the project
In order to optimize the refining and to save energy, there is a great need of measuring the effect of the applied refining. Today, a working prototype for measuring crill is being used on Innventias pilot paper machine. To be able to offer a relevant measure of refinement (crill), to the already existing measurement features which are offered in PulpEye, by Eurocon Analyzer. The developed method gives the completely new possibility to achieve better and more even paper quality and energy saving by control of the refiner energy.
