Important results from the project
The purpose has been to through the company Svensk Trägrundläggning AB illustrate and demonstrate the possibilities both economically and climatically, the great potential this product could have for the wood industry corporate actors. Svensk Trägrundläggning AB intends to push this knowledge forward and develop the idea. The investigation work made available by Vinnova has given a broad foundation that should pay for interest and support to be found in the wood industry. So that this idea can be developed for the heaviest loadings of the house constructions all parts.
Expected long term effects
The investigation work have touched the central parts of this house construction section: Air tightness in joints arising in new material combinations, this through lab tests. Thermal factors such as inertia, energy consumption and overcurrent temperatures in storage of energy, this through simulations. Moisture wise, the situation of wet rooms and building moisture, with and without air ventilation, this through simulations. Construction stability in both smaller and larger buildings, through calculations. Biocharring for the products enviromental sustainability.
