Important results from the project

The objective with the project is to develop a new process technology based on controlled oxidation of boron steel.

Expected long term effects

* A more- environmetal friendy and cost effective manufacturing process of press hardened components * Improved corrosion performance of press hardened parts

Approach and implementation

The project will be carried out in close collaboration with the partners. The research will include set-up of an experimental test equipment, process experiments, material characterization and pre-study for industrial implementation.
