Purpose and goal

K3 is a platform to raise collaboration as an important issue internally. Surveys have been done at the HEI to understand the faculties´ need of support. Within K3 representatives from industry and society have been involved and have given their view of cooperation with Academia and what improvements that are needed. SP 2 has raised the awareness of entrepreneurship in all educational programs. Strategic decisions are taken. Courses have been developed and a new model is created to measure and visualize work around student´s entrepreneurship and involvement in innovation processes.

Expected results and effects

K3 has contributed to an increased awareness of cooperation at all universities. One university has set up a committee for Societal driving force. K3 has developed collaboration and the exchange of experiences between the HEI even further than before. We have reached a common vocabulary. K3 has had positive effect at projects which are related to K3 and has led to meetings with students and industry and has given a deeper understanding of their needs. Some of these areas are pointed out in the MINT project.

Planned approach and implementation

The design of the project has been good but there are some lessons learned. The objectives could have been formulated in a better and clearer way. The background and expectations were more spread than expected especially in SP2. We do have had a good balance between common and local work. Inviting other HEI to share their experiences with us at our video conferences has been a very effective way of benchmarking. The interactions between the subprojects could have been more intense. There should have been appointed project leader for each sub project from start.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
