Purpose and goal

The long-term goal of the planning project is to establish the first municipal clinical education home (CEH) for clinical training in Sweden. The goal will be reached through the following development and implementation Projects that this planning Project has formed the base for. The specific targets of establishing a Project Group, basis for decisions and a Project plan for the development Project has been reached.

Expected results and effects

The result of the planning Project is that the conditions for moving forwards with a development Project and later implementation Project has been formed. Since there is an established Project Group, a Project plan and a provisional decision on where a pilot Project can be performed, we can reach the expected effects after the development and implementation Projects have been performed; improved quality of the clinical education and better trained employees with a higher quality of care.

Planned approach and implementation

When the Project organisation has been established, the possible participants have been discussed with the stakeholders connected to the Clinical education home. The members of the steering Group have communicated the Project with their stakeholders and been Active in the decision to move on with the Project. The reference Group has given their views based on their professions and their knowledge has been taken into account during the Project. The work Group has together with the Project manager produced risk and needs analyses based on the participants professions and interests.
