Purpose and goal
Change and Gender in FOCUSThe aim of the project is to increase the knowledge on gender related patterns in a technology oriented research and innovation organization, and to initiate processes to change mindsets and actions that may restrain creativity and productivity in the sensor research.
Results and expected effects
Results in four major areas are expected as an outcome of the project. 1. Competence. This includes both proffessional and personal perspectives through increased gender awareness in thougths and actions. 2. Act as a complement to the ongoing change processes and contribute to the integration of new gender perspectives. 3. More female researchers. 4. New application areas for FOI.
Approach and implementation
The project is based on established principles and with an active participation from personnel in the research organization. These will work together with the project core team to study processes and established practice in different levels in the organization. The work covers approximately three years and also will also comprise the initiation of processes to achieve desired changes within the organization.
