Important results from the project
Test a new technology in distribution, to place ISO containers at the customer without the aid of forklifts or cranes, and at any time of the day. It will simplify and streamline distribution, while it will have positive environmental impacts through more efficient use of the involved distribution and handling equipment.
Expected long term effects
Successful outcome will result in products that can immediately be subject to marketing to customers in the distribution field.
Approach and implementation
Conceptual document shows the solution, and production of principal drawings. A prototyp produced which will then be tested in full scale at customers who have the demand management and transportation needs.
