Purpose and goal
The project group has met all the goals for the project, which includes radiation measurements of prototypes on the phantom in the lab environment. As a result of the project, the staff´s knowledge in the field of radiation physics has been strengthened. The resulting data shows that the innovative new radiation protective products provides a significantly improved protection for the user, which is the ultimate goal.
Expected results and effects
The result of the radiation measurements provided information on optimal product design for a new product group. New prototypes have been developed; The patent application has been submitted and a technical file is submitted to the regulatory authority for approval.
Planned approach and implementation
Previously completed customer evaluation has been re-evaluated, which later became the basis for a new product concept. Prototypes were developed, after which new radiation measurements were made on the phantom in a lan environment. Cooperation between University and Industry has been conducted very fruitfully.
