Purpose and goal

The purpose of the project was to create at least one major application for EIT RawMaterials as well as material for a further applications. The project also aimed at creating a broad consortium for future applications and collaborations. The aim was reached by the fact that a largely complete application for EIT RawMaterials was developed with ThingWave, Luleå University of Technology, Boliden and KGHM. Unfortunately, the consortium got problems 24 hours prior to the deadline and the application could not be submitted. But now we have continued on with the material that was presented.

Expected results and effects

The project was planned to deliver the following: - Application for EIT scaling project, including Consortium building *Completed but not submitted* - Application to SSF together with Luleå University of Technology *Completed* - Material for further future applications or joint R&D projects (H2020 SU-ICT) together with Process IT at Luleå University of Technology *Ongoing* We are now reusing the material from the EIT grant that was not submitted to make an H2020 application with LTU and another national application.

Planned approach and implementation

Concrete results from the project are two major applications and one smaller one. In addition, a strong consortium has been built both in Sweden and with players abroad. These re Results are expected to have strong effects for ThingWave and other R & D players in the mining industry in Sweden. ThingWave will start hiring staff as a direct consequence of this project.
