Reference number
Coordinator IVL SVENSKA MILJÖINSTITUTET AB - IVL Svenska MIijöinstitutet Stockholm
Funding from Vinnova SEK 1 139 772
Project duration January 2016 - January 2019
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

The purpose of the platforms was to stimulate increased participation in H2020 projects by Swedish companies. This would mainly be achieved by influencing the calls so they reflect the development needs that exist in Swedish industry and also by spreeding information to the Swedish companies and obtain their views on which development areas have the highest priority. It is difficult to measure the goal fulfillment objectively, but there are many signs that show we have contributed to the goal.

Expected results and effects

The effect of the platform´s work is difficult to assess as the full effect of the work is probably not yet achieved. The result and effect of the increased knowledge and understanding that the project has provided will hopefully remain even after the project is completed. Valuable results for the project partners have been, i.e. to gain insight and understanding on how to influence calls and to increase the exchange of knowledge and information.

Planned approach and implementation

High priority activities: 1. Show Swedish companies that we have succeeded in influencing calls and encouraging participation in H2020 projects 2. Contribute to the development of framework programs after H2020, including by capturing the views of Swedish industry players on current programs and calls and what they are calling for the new framework program 3. Have good attendance at meetings within the various technology platforms in order to gain access to Swedish views and exchange information.
