Purpose and goal

The goal of creating an easy to understand and easy to navigate web tools for those within government organizations, working with the publishing of open data is fulfilled and ready to launch on´vidareutnyttjande.se´ when parliament has decided on which organization should manage the administration of the platform. This is expected to occur in the fall of 2015

Results and expected effects

In the work of updating and merging the SKL framework for open data and the E-delegation guidance for the re-use of public sector the number of target groups and the technical complexity of vidareutnyttjande.se increased while the amount of information on the site was amplified. To ensure the usability and accessibility of ´vidareutnyttjande.se´ the information has been structured, categorized, and enriched with metadata. The new navigation is completed and ready to be launched in the autumn.

Approach and implementation

We have, with the help of external consultants, partly adapted the site´s technical and design requirements, and partly analyzed, structured and marked up the information included in the website. The work has also included investigating and implementing appropriate microformats to mark up the guidance. The restructuring has covered both different target groups such as strategists, engineers, lawyers and policy-makers as different phases of the work and how advanced the level that the user can search for information about.
