Purpose and goal
A planning trip was performed with the objective to find a suitable arrangement for interaction between the University of Houston, Texas Medical Center, in the US and Swedish universities. The goal was to find mutual interests to expand in a full application.
Results and expected effects
A suitable constellation was agreed upon and a complete application is submitted.
Approach and implementation
Numerous meetings with chairs, directors and researchers at universities and companies in Sweden were held, including at the Science for Life Labortory, The Royal Institute of Technology, Karolinska Institutet in Solna and Novum, and Uppsala University. Research were presented by Dr. Cecilia Williams and discussed.
