Purpose and goal

Our objective with this project is to continue to be the leading supplier of standard solutions for machine tending of machine tools with robots. The goal of this project is to reduce our development time for engineers and technicians in customer projects with at least 30%, this is done by innovative development of technology and methods. Further more, the goal is to provide automation solutions that are uniquely flexible and easy of use. # All goals have been reached exept for the reduction in working hours that still have to be improved to reach the challening goal.

Expected results and effects

We shall in the project achieve new levels in the following area: 1. standardization 2. easy of use 3. flexibility The project will increase the potential market for the use of robots for machine tending. We create new opportunities for growth in the manufacturing sector in HCC. # The Texas cell shows that we presented a new solution that increases the market for robot use which will generate growth for us as well as our customers.

Planned approach and implementation

The project will be done at our office in Jönköping in collaboration with our team in Texas. After years of collaboration with customers, we have a clear picture of what the market needs and what we can develop to open up new opportunities. Our research and development team will do most of the work. Finally, the project will demonstrate a robot cell with new technology and functionality that creates growth. # The project was okay, better project managing could have decrease some costs. We have brought in external specialists to keep up with selected parts and it has worked very well.
