Purpose and goal
The project studies efficient transports with low CO2 emissions per ton x km. A modular system designed for higher loads will be evaluated. The hypothesis is that this can be achieved without higher road damage or decreased safety. In the project a new modular system with vehicles and trailers is developed. 3 complete vehicle combinations (3 trucks, 2 dollies, 3 links & 4 semitrailers) shall be kept in operation, updated with new technical solutions for example weight control, followed up on new installed solutions
