Purpose and goal
Sentinabay has in the project delivered material samples to customers, analyzed the business model, completed market analyses and initiated market contacts. The results show that the TiSurf meets a market need and that the main potential is international. The project has also shown that expanded material data is needed for calculations and modelling.
Expected results and effects
Market presence is strengthened and SentinaBay has negotiated with customers about technology licensing and sales of products. First steps are taken for the establishment of a sales and marketing office in the United States, and further marketing efforts of the North American market are planned. The team has been reinforced with additional resources in business development and marketing/sales. The project has strongly contributed to increased knowledge and decision support for commercialization.
Planned approach and implementation
The project has essentially followed the time and activity plan. Internal competences of the team have been supplemented with external, to get a comprehensive picture of both technology and market potential.Expenses in the project have been following the budget.
