Purpose and goal

The goal we have been working towards in the project was to develop a research plan for a step-2 application, and align this plan with organisational development processes in our participating organizations, i.e. primary care in Västerbotten, Vll and Norsjö municipality. The feasibility study has developed a framework for coming research: ´Value creative innovation culture-development of public health and health care with the citizen at the center´.

Results and expected effects

The project will study how a value-creating innovation culture is established and integrated as a clear support and resource in the process managing and developing organizational innovations. - Methodological support in value ground development activities - Support in efforts to raise awareness of work structures, identification and evaluation of process-oriented way of working and collaboration - Support the creation of forums where dialogue on collaboration, innovation and regional development related to other development projects underway in the region.

Approach and implementation

The data was produced though a series of dialogue seminars. In these the concept of value-creating innovation culture were discussed and embodied in episodes, examples and reflections drawn from participants everyday work situations The analysis of these seminars provided a solid basis for a two-day co-design-oriented workshop that involved thirty participants from healthcare authorities & municipalities in the region. The ´should be scenarios´ the project produced are powerful research tools in the developed research plan and important result of the project.
