Purpose and goal
Value Based Business Modelling for start-ups and small businesses aims to help value-driven companies to gain maximum benefit from their values. The program has two components: a series of workshops and an individualized coaching program. Our initial plan was to reach at least 8 entrepreneurs in at least four companies. We actually had about 30 participating entrepreneurs from that many companies as well as had a deeper dialogue with three companies through Accelerate. The next 6 months, we believe that further 5 companies will initiate this as part of the Impact Hub Scaling Program.
Results and expected effects
We conducted six workshops with experts who provided practical tools to identify and evaluate company values. The topics of the six workshops were Successful partnerships, Impact Measurement, Value Based Leadership, Business Modelling, Successful Sales and Sustainability Strategy. In total, about 30 people attended and evaluated the workshop series. So far, three companies have begun the second part, Accelerate, and received business advice and follow-up meetings and access to a digital measurement tool that our partners Performance Potential developed.
Approach and implementation
The topics of the six workshops were selected to be relevant to start-ups and provide new perspectives and tools to identify and integrate values into the business. The workshops have been well attended and each workshop have been summarized and knowledge has been spread through our blog. The coaching has been very appreciated by the participants, and we have been able to develop a diagnostics tool and a process that also can be used in many other programs.
