Purpose and goal
Thanks to Vinn Nu Shipwallet has gone from being an idea with at very simple beta version to become a service with several integrations with some of the most influencing shipping companies. During the project, we have also been able to develop a visual identity, which we believe will live up to the standards set for Shipwallet. Besides this, we had the opportunity to conduct customer interviews hence test and develop the concept and adapt the service to actual customer needs.
Results and expected effects
Without Vinn Nu Shipwallet would probably stopped at an idea, but now we´ve come a long way and our goal is to launch during the fall 2014. The feedback we have received from shipping companies, partner platforms and e-railers is mostly very positive and we are convinced that Shipwallet will reach out a lot of consumers in 2015. In the long run Shipwallet will result in the following; small e-tailers will have a better opportunity to match the competition, large e-tailers will have the possibility to offer a better service and shipping companies can become more efficient.
Approach and implementation
It was difficult to appreciate the complexity of integrations we´ve had to do with eg Posten because we did not have access to the technical documentation for their EDI. First when we met them and they realized the potential of the product they gave us access to the documentation. Unfortunately it wa more complex than we first expected, and therefore, the project has been delayed. The development of an interface and a graphic profile has gone surprisingly well. We believe that he concept we have now will be a good foundation for the future of Shipwallet.
