Purpose and goal

In this project, we have developed pilots of our unique micro liquid cooling system for space electronic devices. Also the most important parts of the pilot line are developed, purchased or self-manufactured and verified for high reliability. Materials, lab equipment and manufacturing & assembly -methods have been adapted. However, we have not succeeded in introducing automatic methods for fault-testing and semi-automatic statistical function control. In parallel, we have also conducted global business intelligence and updating of IPR including updated IPR strategy.

Expected results and effects

The project has helped us secure a future ability to reliably and cost-effectively produce pilot series of a newly developed micro liquid system according to high quality standards. The solution has begun to be applied to new markets such as electric vehicles and other electronics. The project enables stepwise upscaling and gives us the opportunity to take the first steps from manual craftsmanship, towards cost-effective production with predictable, consistent and controlled quality.

Planned approach and implementation

The project has included: 1 Preliminary design of pilot and pilot line together with 2 Planning of resources, materials, equipment, regulations, education Then 3 Purchases together with 4 Design and development of pilot and pilot line Then 5 Production of pilot and pilot line and 6 Verification phase including verification methods During the project we have had 7 Customer dialogue and dialogue with subcontractors and project partners 8 Further development opportunities 9 Project administration However, different parts of the work packages have taken place at different times.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
