Purpose and goal
The purpose of this project is to develop and investigate an AI-based communication-system where patients can get required information, ask questions and contact staff when needed and that the staff can use to communicate with each other digitally via the digital receptionist AIDA (Artificial Intelligent Dental Assistant). Furthermore, the aim is to develop a digital communication solution using a combination of different technologies such as artificial intelligence.
Expected results and effects
The project results will contribute to increased knowledge about opportunities and challenges with applied AI based communication. The results might also change the entire healthcare sector with regard to how AI-based digital communication can be used with patients. The AI-based communication solution developed in the project may support the making use of the staff to what they are actually trained for, which in turn means that they can instead focus more on helping those patients who really need personal assistance.
Planned approach and implementation
The project is conducted in several iterations and is evaluated and reported in sub-deliveries and includes the development of: project plan and time schedule descriptions of working methods and responsibilities creating templates for evaluation and testing of equipment and technologies as well as working methods producing working routines for evaluating the AI-based communication solution and working methods develop and adapt modules in the project education modules for staff deploy testing of equipment, technology and working methods finalize the project
