Important results from the project
The aim has been, on a national basis, through the IUC Network (based on regional IUC companies) to identify and distribute Innovationchecks to innovative industrial and industryrelated SMEs. During 2013 the IUC Network has distributed 80 + 80 Innovationchecks divided in two blocks based on separate decisions from Vinnova. This report represents block nr 2. At the end of 2013 all the accessable Innovationschecks were distributed and signed agreeements with SMEs filed.
Expected long term effects
Out of the signed 80 agreements of distribution of Innovationschecks in block 2 all accept one has been fullfilled during winter/spring 2013/2014. The results based on the final evaluation (interviews with each of the committed SME representatives) shows a substatial degree of satisfaction among them of the simplicity and smoothness of the Innovationscheck model. The innovationscheck has substantiall contributed to a developmentprocess in the SMEs of products/services that has or are close to reach the market ( > 50% answers).
Approach and implementation
The methodology is set by the IUC Network 8-step model, which is one of the tools beeing ISO 9001 certified and used in the network. The model constituts of: Step 1 - Initial identification of SMEs Step 2 - Selection, control and 1st SME contact Step 3 - A growthanalyse by use of IUC Database TBN method Step 4 - Projectplan and -agreeement Step 5 - 2nd control and final decision Step 6 - Payment of Innovationscheck Step 7 - Coaching and check-up at SME Step 8 - Evaluation
