Purpose and goal

Find new parties, flows and processes for more synergies in activities to be invested within 10-15 years. The new directives in our and others´ activities (eg. EED), ex. new flows of heat could imply alternative methods in energy, water and waste. We highlight the region´s resources / needs. A clear idea of paralell processes in programming gives Kiruna unique opportunities. A screened potential that is wider than municipal. The goal is a clear image of the parties, flows and requirements that may benefit from or provide input to our future processes. Objectives find 5 collaborations!

Results and expected effects

The impact of our work should lead to better resource effectiveness within the region, especially we hope through the study and the proposed partnerships to shape fundaments for future investment and thereby also create a basis for investment applications into EU-programming etc.

Approach and implementation

2014 implement a basic listing of known parties and those that we identify as potential partners for future collaborations. An internal meeting in december also trying to widen the horizon to see others with needs of our resources and vice verse. At the same time, tendering qualified systems analysts and visualizer for communicating ideas to decision-makers and stakeholders. During the spring, a systems analyst and visualizer will paint images of possibilities throughout the meeting held with regional bodies and parts identified during winter.
