Purpose and goal

Swedish House of Finance has continued to work (Nov. 2016 - Jan 2018) towards reaching our objective: *To create a hub for strengthening financial research in Sweden *To assemble strength and obtain benefits of scale that enable future expansion *To share positive external effects with the private, public and academic sectors in Sweden.

Expected results and effects

Swedish House of Finance has established itself as one of the leading research institutions in Europe. The center offers a course program for PhD students in finance open for all Swedish finance PhD students, a data center that collects, processes and publishes Swedish financial data available to all Swedish academics, and organizes seminars, workshops and conferences on current topics targeted towards both academic and decision makers in the Swedish financial sector.

Planned approach and implementation

Since 2016-jan 2018, we have among other things: *Increased the productivity of our researchers and the quality of our research output, in terms of A-grade publications. *increased the participation in our seminars, conferences and workshops for researchers and practitioners. *Improved the efficiency and utilization of the databases distributed through our platform of our Research Data Center, which allows access to all academic researchers registered at Swedish universities.
