Purpose and goal
The project has enabled us to develop and test the value proposition and business model for Sweden on the Go (www.swedenonthego.se) together with partners, international consultants and companies. The goal has been to help SME´s find the right expertise needed to expand internationally. We have also done major technical improvements of the platform.
Expected results and effects
We have improved the value proposition for companies looking to expand internationally, as well as for international consultants wanting to provide their expertise. We have initiated partnerships with several business organisations, recruited 50 new qualified consultants to the site, matched several companies with international consultants and improved the digital platform technically. The results will contribute to helping SME´s expand internationally and be an instrument for business and government organisations to promote international business for SME´s.
Planned approach and implementation
The set up and implementation has covered the following: 1) Development and test of the value proposition and matching service 2) Development of partner cooperation with several business organisations and other actors including government bodies; 3) Technical modernisation of website 4) Development and test of the business model.
