Purpose and goal

SusFor2 has achieved its goals in that; - SusFor has influenced the development of programs and upcoming calls of Horizon 2020 - national actors´ involvement in networks, platforms and communities has increased - national players interaction with European stakeholders to obtain influence has increased - common visions, strategies, objectives and needs has been developed - participation in Horizon 2020 has increased - the advocacy platform has been developed nationally and internationally

Expected results and effects

SusFor2 has been successful and achieved the results intended. - SusFor2 has developed as a stakeholder nationally and internationally - International cooperation has developed - SusFor has been active in advocacy work nationally and internationally with good results - SusFor has supported proposal initiatives with Swedish partners to H2020 and organized workshops on opportunities in H2020

Planned approach and implementation

The SusFor2 project was owned by SLU and the Forestry Research Institute was a partner. The project had an effective organization with a steering group, project management and a reference group. SusFor was represented in the national reference group for SC2 and active in the revision of the forest research agenda (SFA). The cooperation with BioInnovation has been developed and a Nordic platform for advocacy has been established. SusFor has made input and responded to consultations to, e.g. the content of the work programme for H2020, to the next framework programme, and to the SFA etc.
