Purpose and goal
STREAM-2 was designed to increase the competitiveness of automation-intensive industry through data-driven solutions based on a component-based toolkit. Further, the project have studied appropriate business models, and implemented three demonstrators with the help of the toolbox. The project has therefore met its objectives.
Results and expected effects
The results of the project were three demonstrators, which can be further developed into new products. The effects of the project is deemed to be large, as indicated by the interest the project has met with industrial partners.
Approach and implementation
The project has been set up as a traditional project work packages, deliverables and milestones. Cooperation with industry has partly been taking place within the case studies, and partly based on a detailed joint analysis of appropriate business models. In the latter part of the project, demonstrator development was done in close collaboration with industry. Steering committee meetings have been held approximately every six months. The project has had frequent meetings and have also organized a number of workshops.
