Purpose and goal
The project´s goals have been achieved, and the objective to support learning through open educational resources, with a particular focus on reducing disparities between different social groups, has been the basis for all work that´s been done within the project. The areas of knowledge identified and the pedagogic teams created, as well as the concepts we´ve developed, are based specifically on the needs of our prioritized target groups. The staff have increased their skills and introduced new ways of working, both in regards to meeting our visitors and sharing learning resources.
Results and expected effects
Through the project the Learning Centre has expanded its network, thereby creating conditions for achieving long-term goals. Our new approach to knowledge areas and pedagogic teams creates better opportunities for digital learning. Three concept proposals supporting learning and the use of open educational resources have been developed. We intend to further develop those concepts to find one solution. A digital platform would allow us to enhance learning among existing and potential audiences.
Approach and implementation
The project has consisted of three parts: A research and monitoring phase, a process of business development, and an open innovation process. In the end, the three parts came together in the concept development phase. The process has enabled the entire team to increase their knowledge and strengthen their skills, creating favorable conditions for further work. The results have been distributed through a blog and a publication, and the project has participated in several conferences and workshops, which have also led to further contact with stakeholders.
