Purpose and goal

The aim of the project was to ensure a successful build up of the new research institute SP Process Development. This included activities relating to infrastructure, recruitment of key competences, setting up quality systems etc. The combination of a very comprehensive instrument set-up and experienced staff creates a platform for development in the area of chemical, biochemical and pharmaceutical process research. The project was successul and SP Process Development is now officially a technical research institute. The inauguration took place on February 4th in Södertälje.

Approach and implementation

The following work packages have been completed: WP1: Further development of the pre-study that was completed in Q2 2012 to get at better understanding of the need for SP Process Development WP2:Securing the infrastructure WP3:Ensuring a well functioning organisation for the project phase WP4: Ensuring a well functioning organisation for the institute by recruiting key competences WP5: Setting up quality systems WP6:Ensuring that necessary agreeements and permissions in place WP7:Business development activities
