Purpose and goal

With this project SABO togeather with Sustainable Innovation has created a process to strengthen the public housing companies social responsibility, increase participation among tenants, reduce stocks of social issues and has developed a methodology and action plan for social innovation that addresses the national social societal challenges so that the country can reap the advantage of these and new social innovations.

Expected results and effects

The monitoring and constellation of the project has supported the creation of a methodology and action plan regarding employment, integration and innovation. The expected impact is that SABO in a broader constellation among member companies that have not yet been activated in social projects move forward to achieve the business plan´s vision and objectives through the development, demonstration and implementation of the model for Social Innovation.

Planned approach and implementation

The steering and project group has consisted of representatives from SABO and Sustainable Innovation. The project leader has been Thomas Sundén, Sustainable Innovation. The project organization has consisted of nine of SABO´s member companies. Through a broad intelligence based in SABO´s own project Nyttan med allmännyttan has in-depth interviews been conducted with the member companies which has resulted in the creation of a methodology and operational plan for Social Innovation in public housing
