Purpose and goal
It is clear through a) the conference paper developed within the project and b) through the tests concerning interfacing analytics and monitoring with the system availability simulations, that the project goals are fulfilled.
Results and expected effects
The project has prepared the research team and industrial partners for additional full scale applications, one of which have been submitted to VINNOVA. The project did, through project collaboration, demonstration and simulation outputs, provide direction for a future full-scale project and did strengthen the competitiveness of the project partners. The project produced an abundance of data, which supports the development of a new product by the end of the full scale Pi-SAMS project which has been applied for.
Approach and implementation
The iterative nature of the project included, at various pre-defined times of the project, the following: - Gather and agree on requirements - Present the preliminary results and get feedback from industrial partners. - Results presentation The results from the -SAMS pre-study project have been used to set up a full-scale project application. The project execution turned out to work well, mainly due to preparedness and to the longstanding research collaboration between all project partners.
