Important results from the project
The project aimed at improving and quality assure the most steps in the production of the material Quartzene, especially so as regards the wet chemistry part of the process, all to assure a reproducible and environmentally friendly process. Methods and Products for hydrophobation of the material has been investigated. The objectives of the project has in all essence been met.
Expected long term effects
The experiences and results of the project are presently being utilised in the ongoing detailed design of the full scale production process.
Approach and implementation
The project has predominantly been executed as an iterative process between the Company and SP KM. This work process has been pragmatic and constructive.
