Purpose and goal
The purpose of the project was to conduct a pilot installation of the solar thermal collector EOS and carry out activities prior to certification. The company conducted laboratory testing, a pilot installation of EOS and developed a commercial design for EOS during the course of the project. HelioCaminus has also done a market positioning analysis for EOS . The objectives of the project are considered fulfilled.
Results and expected effects
The project was conducted in two phases with corresponding activities in each stage. In the first phase, the performance of the EOS was tested, and a pilot installation was carried out. Lessons learned from these activities were taken into consideration in the continued development and has been a key part in the ongoing preparations for the Solar Keymark certification. The outcomes of activities have been good and are expected to lead to an ongoing successful commercialization of the solar thermal collector EOS.
Approach and implementation
The project was conducted in two phases with related activities in each stage. The activities have been carried by HelioCaminus´ employees in collaboration with a number of external partners. Implementation of activities has gone well.
