Purpose and goal

We have identified and understand the most important needs and priorities of these needs for an e-commerce company, which are to understand and keep track on their positions and changes for different keywords on Google. When they know their positions then they want to know what and how to do to improve these. We have identified international competitors and understand their pricestrategies but also got feedback from our customers and partners about our coming prices.

Results and expected effects

We identified the 10 most important needs e.g. to keep track on your website on keywords you want to be ranked on, to know when something happens and how the competitors are performing. Other needs were how to understand which keywords have the highest business value, improvements on their website and understand how external links from other websites impact. We now also understand that montly payments are higher wanted since its more common on Internet and our price strategy are tested and evaluated towards e-commerce companies and international competitors.

Approach and implementation

Three prototypes were created in a near cooperation with e-commerce companies and their feedback helped us identify and value different functions. The three prototypes were paper prototyping, first version of online-software which were user tested and finally the beta version. Parallell we also developed a business plan for an international expansion including new solutions on demands and whiches expressed by the e-commerce companies. The business plan can be used for investors as a part of our future financing.
