The morning concluded with a speech by the President of IFMBE, Ratko Magjarevic . In addition to the poster session scientific sessions were organized under 17 separate headings.

Approach and implementation

The MT-days is an important conference for the country´s medical technicians from both healthcare, industry and academia. The program offers everything from advanced science to interesting practical applications. The conference has traditionally been held over two days. The scheduling of all lectures during this time is a challenge. The association has discussed whether it is appropriate to extend the conference with an additional day. No decisions have been made on that issue.
