Project duration June 2013 - October 2013
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

In short, the project had two goals. First, to develop key indicators, and secondly to be able to increase performance focus, or alternatively expressed, further improve the effect of platform activities. The project has resulted in a first set of indicators that has been developed, both those that are found at the aggregate level, but also more specifically for each AIL-(collaborative) platform. The project has also resulted in a proposed control and evaluation model called CoRe (co-operative research) connected to the proposed indicators.

Results and expected effects

The project has resulted in a set of possible key parameters to follow and use to strategically develop the co-operation with different partners in the context of work integrated learning (WIL) platforms (co-operative arenas). At the aggregate level, the project has also resulted in a proposed model called CoRe (Co-operative Research) that is linked to the parameters and used for improved control of the collaborative and its benefits / effects for both partners and the university itself college itself. A continuation application has also been made with other universities.

Approach and implementation

The project´s working group consisted of the Vice rector for Innovation, former Rector of the University West, representatives of AIL platforms and former CEO of Innovatum Science Park. Based on an initial kick-off meeting the team has since been working in an open iterating process. The timetable has been perceived as tight and the work with the continuation application started due its time frame generally parallel with the current project, adding to the challenges. However, we see the actual result as useful, beneficial and forward-looking, and looks forward to continued work.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
