Important results from the project
The purpose of the study was to capture and realize ideas. The goal was to develop products which at a later stage could be commercialized. Both the purpose of the project as well as the set goals were met. Furthermore, both a ´need-identifier´ and a test market were identified.
Expected long term effects
The test market that was identified is the food industry and CLUK is the operator identifying a need. Additional results are ideas for further concept developments, just as there is a market need. However, a current lack of entrepreneurs who have the power and resources prevents the development of these concepts and their future commercialization. Nevertheless this study has contributed to the development of two innovators ideas into business concepts and preparing to start operations.
Approach and implementation
CLUK as the ´need-identifier´ has worked with an approach and implementation which included providing a platform for identifying three products, identifying three farmers / producers of raw materials, identifying ten innovators, as well as documenting the results. Existing layout and implementation used in the study proved to be suitable to attract smaller contractors. This means in practice that the platform we created must be expanded to attract the slightly larger contractors.
