Meet Sweden and Kollen; Digital innovation for youth and social services

Purpose and goal

Kollen Proclaimed and fulfilled goals are having built a prototype of the co-created digital solution Kollen, along with having tested the prototype with users and evaluated the result. Subsequently, we have compiled recommendations for the next step. Meet Sweden In Sollentuna, the prototype has been tested and evaluated. The purpose of the project has always been to simplify and streamline the asylum process. During the project, blockchain technology has been explored to be the underlying technology to facilitate a legally secure digital collaboration between authorities.

Expected results and effects

Kollen That youth in contact with Social Svcs. feel more involved and safe by having an overview and can communicate in a more familiar way. That social workers and youth can attain a better relationship through less formal ways of communication. Meet Sweden We can now see how a holistic blockchain technology can work, how the interface with users looks, what obstacles have been discovered in workshops with actors and which data points are needed for a relevant and value-creating product / service.

Planned approach and implementation

Kollen We have co-created and evaluated potential content in an app to improve contact between youth and Social Svcs. We have built a prototype, which we have tested with the imagined target group and written recommendations based on their feedback. Meet Sweden We have co-created Meet Sweden as an app and have in the dialogue with users and Sollentuna municipality changed the direction in the project to solve the real problem of the collaboration issue in focus. We believe that a block chain solution can be the right technology to create great change.
