Project duration December 2017 - December 2020
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

The purpose of creating a common nomenclature for academia-industry collaboration in a wiki format, useful and known to the sector, has been fulfilled. The result is Samsynwiki.su.se. Quality and commitment has been ensured through an iterative approach with the involvement of a number of representatives from other organizations in addition to the participating parties.

Expected results and effects

Samsynwiki has been open for reading and editing since December 2019. The latter part of the project period has been dedicated to dissemination activities to spread knowledge about Samsynwiki and its uses. It is a tool for everyone who needs to make themselves understood in collaboration issues - researchers, research funders, university management, external partners, support functions and so on. An expected effect is that Samsynwiki in the future will facilitate communication regarding collaboration, for example agreements, applications or announcements.

Planned approach and implementation

The iterative and inclusive work process has ensured both quality and commitment of the content and its future usage. Samsyn has also taken advantage of the experiences and results from other K3 projects. The wiki tool has worked very well, both as a process tool and a format for the end result. The collaboration with Wikimedia Sweden has been very valuable. Some of the planned disseminition and training activities have been affected or cancelled by the corona pandemic, especially during the final six months, but overall the work has followed the project plan.
