Important results from the project
The main goal of the project was to develop an app to be used by children together with speech therapists, teachers and parents which has a demonstrable effect of developing the linguistic ability in children. In October 2016, we are launching two versions, one version designed specifically for speech therapists and a version that is publically available. The exercises are based on proven methods and has been redesigned to enable training in a fun way.
Expected long term effects
The products developed during the project is expected to streamline and facilitate speech therapists and educators work with children´s linguistic development. The public version will give more children the opportunity to practice their language in a fun and effective way. The research work that was carried out during the project has set the foundations for future development activities.
Approach and implementation
The project was completed on schedule and delivered the planned results. The project was carried out with project management, specialist competence and game development from Lingo with external illustration and speech therapy clinic support.
