Purpose and goal

Physical trainings have long struggled with low results. With the project we set out to reach ´product market fit´. Along the way we sought to craft a pricing model, author a compelling message to communicate and initiate customer relations, and to finance our efforts with subscription revenue. We have delivered on all accounts to such a degree that all the members of our team of five now has a modest salary based solely on subscription revenue.

Expected results and effects

The main goal of the project was to ´Develop a product that reaches product market fit´. We claim to have reached that goal. The expected outcome is that the product in a satisfactory way tackles the problem of trainings not getting results. Other partial goals were: - Settle on a pricing model and suitable communication - Initiate new cooperations - Self-sustained through recurring revenue We claim that these three goals have also been reached, which makes us confident that we will be able to innovate even faster going forward.

Planned approach and implementation

The work packages were supposed to be executed in the following order: 1. ´Smart creation´ 2. ´Involve managers´ 3. ´On-the-job challenges´ Each package was to consist of observations, interviews, a concierge MVP and implementation. The first two packages were interchanged, as the second made more sense to lead with. During the project, our using the services Typeform, Zapier and Gmail greatly sped up the creation of MVPs and testing of hypotheses. Being able to execute faster had a significantly positive impact on the project outcome.
