Approach and implementation
The public dental care was tasked by the Örebro County Council Board to start a Centre of Excellence for Geriatric Dental Care. In 2013 a project manager was appointed. A risk identified in the Vinnova application was that the project manager would leave before an acceptable training level was achieved. This occurred at year-end 2014 and project time was lost for restructuring and recruitment. This partially explains why AP 5 and 8 could not be fully implemented. The other work packages are in various phases, ranging from newly started to well-established.
